By way of CT, Charisse also known as DJ Cha, began her official DJ career in 2023, 4 years after moving to Boston, MA. Her music journey began as an adolescence, becoming an avid music lover after being exposed to various genres by close family and friends while growing up in a Caribbean household. DJ Cha grew up listening to Reggae/Dancehall through her Jamaican roots but she grew a deep love for Hip-Hop and R&B while curating a variety of playlists for herself and friends. DJ Cha has been captivating audiences at a variety of private events, weddings, clubs, lounges and local events. She specializes in Hip-Hop and R&B blends, creating a customized experience that also bridges the gap between old school and new school vibes.
